Long ago, there were a people called the Nahuans who lived in central and southern Mexico. Among them were artists, artisans, and wise men who were called Toltecs.

Living in a world of magic and mystery, they called themselves "men and women of knowledge.

A writer/anthropologist by the name of Carlos Castaneda tells us that long before the Spaniards invaded Mexico, there were extraordinary Toltec seers. They were men and women capable of inconceivable acts.

The Toltecs referred to themselves as warriors. They were spiritual warriors whose goal was to take us back to the garden, and re-create Heaven on Earth.

Don Miguel Ruiz, an expert in Toltec Teachings, and author of "Beyond Fear", tells us that around 4000 years ago there was a man called Smoky Mirror. Smoky Mirror was a member of a group of spiritually advanced people. He is the one responsible for the design and creation of the first temples at Teotihuacan.

Don Miguel says, "His wisdom was built into the very rocks of the temples. In later years, these structures were expanded and others were built. This group of magi, or wise people, founded a wisdom school, or mystery school, at this place where men become gods."

There, at Teotihuacan they taught "advanced spiritual seekers how to surmount fear, and live as though they were in heaven, rather than the hell most humans perceive around them." These people were Toltec masters.

They were masters of perception who realized that we are "perceivers", who create our own perceptive reality.

Don Miguel compares Jesus's teachings to Toltec teachings. He says, "The original Christianity was when Jesus was in his body. He taught a way of life almost exactly like the Toltecs. Jesus gave us immense gifts. He gave us forgiveness. Forgiveness was his way of cleansing the poison from our mind, like the inventory."

Jesus also taught us that the Kingdom of Heaven is within us, and that it is "at hand". "At hand" means reachable, not far off in the distant future in some other place.

What Will Happen In 2012?

What will happen in 2012? We are continually hearing spiritual leaders talking about 2012 Mayan calendar prophecies, and about how important it is that we all raise our consciusness before it's too late.

Many of them are saying that we cannot continue to live the way we are without using up all of Earth's resources, destroying the environment, and/or wiping ourselves out with a nuclear war.

Whether we agree with this or not, we can still agree that the world would be a much better place without waste, destruction, pollution, and violence.

Many of us think that all of the bad things in our world are outside of us, and we want to try to change things. Toltec teachings tell us that ALL of the undesirable things going on in our outer world around us, are mirror reflections of what is going on in our inner world, in our souls. "As within, so without".

If we would change our outer world, we must first each change our inner world. This is where our power lies. We have only ourselves to change, and the world will follow. When we change ourselves, we affect everyone and everything around us, like a chain reaction.

If there is conflict and violence in our souls, then we will see it, not only in our homes, cities, and countries, but also in the wind, the waves, and in the ground shaking under our feet.

So, what will happen in 2012?...

Our Beliefs Create Our Reality

Being made in the image of God, we are creators. We continuously create, and what we create in our lives, and our world, is based upon what we believe about it.

We have beliefs, and we act accordingly to those beliefs. We believe we have enemies, so we defend ourselves. We believe we must struggle and labor to make a living, and so we do.

If what we believe about ourselves and our world is incorrect, then the actions we take will be incorrect as well. Learning how to change your beliefs is essential to creating Heaven on Earth.

Toltec teachings urge us to constantly take "inventory". This inventory includes our beliefs. Becoming aware of our beliefs is one of the first steps toward freedom...

The Matrix

The dark matrix is a world that does not exist although it seems very real to us. It is a dark matrix because there is no light or truth in it, it is literally a web of lies.

Those lies have become our beliefs, and because of those beliefs, we uphold this dark matrix. We create hell instead of heaven on earth.

In this dark matrix, we believe that we are separate from God, and that we are powerless victims of circumstance.

We are like insects caught in this web of lies, while our life force is sucked away. The movie, "The Matrix" depicted this quite well.

We are prisoners who do not know we are in prison. Slaves, with no real identity, or personal power, victims of parents, teachers, husbands, wives, employers, the churches,the government, other countries, and everything in between.

Many are desperately trying to change things but, they don't know how to go about it. They try to take action against, and fight what they don't like.

They wave signs, and protest, go on crash diets, avoid, go from relationship to relationship, job to job, try to elect someone better, work harder, commit crimes, take prescription and non-prescription drugs, get angry, yell and scream, get drunk, rant and rave, buy lotto tickets, and go to therapists, but nothing really ever changes.

They are a bunch of prisoners rioting to demand better conditions in the prison. Even if they succeed in getting better food, or softer beds, they are still powerless, helpless prisoners. What they truly want, and need to do, is to get up and simply walk out of the prison- to live a purpose filled life.

Heaven On Earth

I'm sure you are wondering how to do this- to just walk out of this prison of negativity. It probably doesn't even sound possible to you, but I tell you that it doesn't matter what your situation appears to be, Toltec teachings can show you how to take back your life and your power.

We all have the power and ability to transfrom our lives from a nightmare of hell, full of pain, poverty, insanity, depression, addiction, abuse, slavery, racism, sexism, crime, environmental destruction, war, sickness, and disease, into a beautiful dream of Heaven on Earth.

You are not a victim. Your are powerful and unlimited because God who is your Source is powerful and unlimited.

There are some who don't want you to know that. They don't want you to know that the world is not what it apprears to be. They use illusions to enforce negative beliefs which then cause the Cosmic Law of Attraction to work against us which further enforces the illusions.

We must take down the web of lies and the dark matrix, by eliminating our fear-based beliefs- beliefs that we have taken for granted, and passed on to our children since the beginning.

These are beliefs about who and what we are, and the nature of reality...

What appears to be solid and set in stone isn't. Miracles happen each moment, and what some have called "The Kindom of Heaven" isn't some place you go to when you die. It is right here, right now, all around us.

"The Kingdom is at hand". This place, or Heaven is the real world, and in this world magic exists, everyone is happy, healthy, and endlessly wealthy. It was created by the Grandmaster of all artists, who is our Source, who said "it was good".

Using Toltec teachings, waking up as many as possible, out of the nightmare of hell into the dream of Heaven on Earth, is what must and "Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven".
